    Hi RTW711,

Yes, all three credit cards were eventually cancelled after they were charged off. But I had already cut them up. I haven’t had a credit card in my name since then. We only have one company credit card that our whole family uses. The biggest thing I’ve learnt from this is that if we all understand the basics of our rights, act with integrity at all times, and maintain our position, then YOU/WE hold the power. At the time, I really had no idea what I was doing (other than going along with the system).

When I realised to NEVER consent without establishing their jurisdiction or claim over me by requesting evidence or proof of a contractual agreement with them, it made more sense to be willing to comply, knowing by law that we have never entered into a contract with any Debt Collector or Agency! That is a very powerful thing to learn – the burden of proof is on them to establish an agreement with you, and just because they bought a “debt” from the bank or whoever, has no bearing or hold on you or any relationship to do business with you. They are all parasites and think they can bully and intimidate men and women – we all know they can’t if we maintain our position.

Cheers and have a great day!
