Tax Return Question

Asking this for a friend who would like to complete tax return under SE method

she was travelling for the first 6 months of the tax year when returning home was receiving job seeker payments for a period of time whilst also being sick, she also took out her super in that time

so lets say roughly 14,000 in job seeker payments, 10,000 in super withdrawal which they withheld 20% and is taxable income, she also earned around 12k from ABN but won’t declare that pertaining to the method

the main point is to get the 2.1k witheld from super withdrawal. If ABN income was declared that wouldn’t be returned.

So given the circumstances technically you cant deduct for sustenance because both the money from super and jobseeker can be deducted from, from what i understand.

So question is how should the affidavit be used in this situation, should some phrases talking about sustenance be taken out?

and by crunching the numbers she would end up paying like 200$ tax which is fine but would you still use the affidavit because of the 12k undeclared under the abn? and is there a way to get the tax amount paid to 0 and how does this all work due to also receiving government payments

    thank you
